Remove sausage from casing and add it to the pot, breaking it up a little using a wooden spoon. Bring uncovered pan (no lid necessary) up to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.

    2. In large skillet over high heat cook sausage as whole or take off casing & crumble & cook.
    3. Remove cooked sausage & set aside. Keep the drippings in pan.
    4. If pan is too dry add the tblsp of butter
    5. Add your chopped onion, garlic & Apples and cook 4-5 min. Until tender.
    6. In the last 2 minutes of cooking add the sausage and Farro to warm it & mix.
    7. Taste & season as desired.
    8. Serve warm & enjoy!

    Remove sausages from the plastic casing and thinly slice into rounds. Transfer the crispy sausage to a plate. Add mushrooms and a pinch salt.
